The Revival Of The Ancient Science Of Genetic Engineering

We tend to think of genetic engineering as a "modern" invention.

But it is not.

The 3000 year old book of Jasher (a book of ancient history that is quoted in the Biblical books of Joshua and II Samuel) tells us of bizarre genetic engineering that was going on in the days of Noah before the Flood.

http://www.ccel.org/a/anonymous/jasher/4.htm

"and the sons of men in those days took from the cattle of the earth, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the air, and taught the mixture of animals of one species with the other, in order therewith to provoke the Lord"

-The Book of Jasher 4:18

Now we are provoking the Lord again. Matthew 24:37 tells us this about the end times: "As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man."

And one of the things that was going on in the days of Noah was genetic engineering.

But even knowing all of this, we were still stunned by this latest story.....

Imagine a world where the government uses your DNA without your consent to create human/animal hybrid creatures for bizarre scientific experiments. Does that sound like the plot to a far-fetched Hollywood movie?

Unfortunately, it's not.

The U.K. House of Commons just passed a law entitled the "Human Fertilisation and Embryology Bill" that allows human/animal embryos to be created through cloning which scientists may then use for "scientific" experiments.

Now where will the scientists get the DNA that they need for this cloning? Well, another provision in this disturbing bill allows scientists to take DNA from certain classes of people without their consent. So if you live in the U.K., and you belong to one of those classes of people, you can now be cloned without your consent.

Have we learned anything from the past? No, we haven't - we are doing the exact same things they did in the days of Noah, but we think that we are so "advanced".

The truth is that we are only becoming more "advanced" in wickedness.

  1. interesting article. i dont find it far fetched at all. with scientific research the borders seem to be expanding progressively. as for the claim of us advancing only in wickedness... keep in mind that its a select few doing the injury to the majority.
