Last night, the new ABC television show "V" directly injected itself into the H1N1 swine flu vaccine debate. During last night's episode, it was discovered that the Visitors were attempting to tamper with the flu vaccine that humans were to take. It seems more than a coincidence that the writers of V would choose the flu vaccine as the focus of that episode at a time when the H1N1 flu vaccine is making news headlines around the world almost every single day. Are the writers of V actually trying to tell us something? Are they trying to warn us about the H1N1 swine flu vaccine?
It seems as though there are a lot of hidden messages in V. For example, the name of the leader of the Visitors, Anna, is a not very subtle reference to the Annunaki - ancient Middle Eastern "gods" that some UFO researchers believe are connected to the modern UFO phenomenon. In addition, the promise by the Visitors to provide humans with "universal health care" is seen as a knock on Barack Obama's health care reform plans.
But last night's episode certainly took things to a new level.
The L.A. Times summary of last night's episode described the episode this way....
"Mistakenly believing that the vitamin supplement that Anna announces on television is the likely target of Peter Combs’ plot (it is said to fight cancer and even stave off aging), Erica, Jack and Ryan make a shocking discovery at a warehouse that is even more insidious. Uncovering evidence of experimentation on human subjects, they soon realize that the vitamin supplements are smokescreen to divert attention from the real threat: the flu vaccine. The warehouse is overflowing with vaccine that has been tampered with and is intended to be shipped the following day."
This comes at a time when the debate over the safety of the H1N1 swine flu vaccine is hotter than ever. There have been dozens and dozens of reports of serious adverse reactions to the H1N1 swine flu vaccine, and yet the mainstream media ignores them and continues to maintain the fantasy that the vaccine is perfectly and totally safe.
Did the writers of V take last night's episode as an opportunity to express their opinions?
Perhaps we will never know. Posted below is a video preview of last night's episode of V....
